My bracelet..

Just thought i would show off my bracelet, that my good friend Ali made me, it matches my engagement ring and i just love it!!!!!..... purple is my favourite color so it is just PERFECT!!!!

I have also been very busy making a mothers day paper bag album, I have finished it now,.... It has a lovely modern mumsy feel too it, its mainly pink, white and black, im really pleased with it, but i was tempted to keep it myself and give as a gift to my own mum on mothers day, But i have decided not to and its now on ebay....

Finally....

i am still alive hehe, So sorry i havent posted in ages... It was well before christmas since i last posted, But i have still been crafting.... One on the things i have made recently was a valentines day paper bag album, I really enjoyed making this, as i used lace in it which i think fits the theme perfectly, I also printed out some papers and graphics from daisie company, overall i was pleased with how it turned out....

I have also been making tons and tons of vellum flowers, that i have just got round to listing today on MISI... they are beautiful embellishments and are perfect for crafting... They are equally special as most of the colours have a spring'y feel to them, I am going to put some of them in my easter album and spring album that i am working on....

CHRISTMAS!!!!! I am excited now, christmas is coming nearer, only 11 days to christmas day - I cant wait.....

I have spent the day today taking pictures of my new christmas album, I have just finished listing it on ebay, Its one of my bigger sized paper bag books- it is 8x6 inchs...... here it is.. fingers crossed it sells!!! I have to say this is my favourite christmas album i have made so far, and one of my favourite bag books overall, Its just so colourful and i love the gems....

Anyway I am now spending the rest of the day making some christmas cards for my friends and family....

today I am busy busy busy....

...today I have spent all morning making some business cards, I have been meaning to do make some for a while, its one of those things oh i will do it tomorrow, well tomorrow come and i finally made some, also ali reminded me the other day that it would be a good idea to make some....

I printed some pictures out from my computer of my logo and the word 'thepaper fairy... so i decorated them using prima flowers, bits of ribbon, buttons, pearls, gems, rub ons, oh and my print outs.....

I wrote on the back of them my email address, my ebay ID, My website, My blogspot etc....

Overall I think I did rather well with them, and am very pleased!!!!!!

Along with all that this morning I have been finishing this christmas bag book, I have now finally finished it, so i just need to take the pictures of it and I will list it on ebay tomorrow(sunday)..... Fingers crossed it does well......

I shall now go and have a rest for five minutes whilst i eat my dinner, and then i shall be hopping off along to my craft room to make more irresitable things, I have an exoctic album that i have been working on.... I know i know exotic this time of year, we can also hope were somewere very warmmmm.....mmm!

Where my obsession began...

Im not sure EXACTLY where my obsession for all things crafty started, I have always been into crafting, I have always made cards and bookmarks and things like that.... But only recently i came across an amazing hobby called 'Paper Bag Albums', I came across them whilst browsing on ebay one day..... At the time there were a few diffrent people on ebay who made paper bag albums, But one person in particular stuck out from the rest for me, her albums were truly scrumptious, so much detail and so fab, she was known as 'magicmakinghands' I emailed her and asked her how to make them etc, as i was so facinated by them i just wanted to get stuck in and make one... she was very kind and offered to send me some instructions and a little kit to me to get me started, and thats were it all began... and now i have her to thank because i am now OBSESSED with making paper bag books.... magicmakinghands (Ali..) became a very good friend, and now we email quite a lot of the time sharing ideas, supplies etc.....

My first book wasnt the best, but thats how we all learn!!! I now am addicted to making paper bag books for presents, for ebay, for friends and hopefully soon I want to list one or two on etsy.... I have my own website, which does need a little update very soon- www.freewebs.com/the-paper-fairy

oh yeah.. forgot to mention, I am now known by many of my customers as 'thepaperfairy'..
I love what i do, and wont be stopping any time soon......
